The days between christmas and new years eve I spend on the tropical and mysterious Easter Island ,also know as Isla Pascua by the Chileans or Rapa Nui by the locals, which is located 2.075 km from the Chilean coast. I was welcomed with the typical Hawaiian garland.
After sleeping in dorms for 5 weeks it was amazing to sleep in hotel with a two personsbed and private bathroom. The famous Moai's were one of the most impressive things I saw during my round trip in South-America. Besides side-seeing and enjoying the sun and good food (beef with seafood, fish, cheese cake, ice cream and fresh juices) I become friends with Beverly and Kevin a couple from the States who celebrated there honeymoon on Easter Islan, and a street dog who I named Dusty.
